So after talking about FF in the other thread I'm kinda curious as to what people are playing outside of Wow right now.

I'm currently working on a game called Ar Tornelico, its special in a very fucked up way, but remains a fun game.

I'm also slowly working my way through a PS3 game called Folklore. Kinda a fun game but not the most stellar game I've ever played.

Anyway, feel free to share comments about other games.

I've been playing a lot of Hello Kitty Online.

Other than that I'm usually playing Super Mario Galaxies with my roommate since she just got a wii. I was playing a lot of Bioshock and Halo 3 until then.

I'm playing Fallout 3 now. Once I found a way to disable the horridly annoying max weight part of the game, I really started enjoying it.

I have a fulltime work schedule, and a wife, and poor time management skills. All of that combines into not even giving me enough time to do the things I want to get done on WoW. But, I am slowly working my way through Chrono Trigger DS when Im away from my computer.

The first one or the second one? I played the first one a while ago and enjoyed it, I thought some of the music was great and I had a ton of fun with the battle system. The characters were maybe a little meh, but not too bad.

I've read that the new game is supposed to be better in every way, but there's a pretty terrible bug right near the end of it. Apparently one of the final bosses does some sort of super attack during the battle which causes lots of Japanese text to scroll around the screen and crashes the game. So you either have to kill him before he casts it or hope he doesn't cast it if you want to see the ending. Second paragraph.

As far as game's I'm playing, when my buddy comes over we're mostly playing Gears of War 2 horde mode on hardcore difficult. I think we're up to wave 6 now. Beating wave 50 on normal difficulty was a bitch. I also have Bourne Conspiracy, Fable II, Silent Hill Homecoming, Mirror's Edge and I'm thinking of downloading the GTA4 expansion. I figure I'll finish all of these in 2010 sometime.

GTA: The Lost and Damned is a decent expansion. They fixed a lot of the annoying things in the original game like serving as a taxi service to your friends, poor bike performance + handling.

On the downside, the characters and story are less well-executed than the original game, and the story often feels very rushed or fragmented. I have a poor quality TV for my XBox and the resolution is so bad that I can't read the text messages people send you.

I'm playing the second Ar Tornelico. I haven't played the first one so I'm not sure what I'm missing plot wise. And yeah I've heard about the horrible bug at the end of the game, which while shitty, apparenlty wasn't bad enough to drop the rating that far (8.5 was what I heard). Overall its a great game, just the constant sexual innuendo and dating sim stuff gets to be a bit over the top sometimes.

I'm also barrowing Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction from a freind, too bad I can't play it except when I steal Natbuk's computer. smile

Interesting that you mention Ar Tonelico. After Vitoseph got his PS3 (1st Gen), PS2, XBox 360, and PSP all stolen last year, along with a shitton of games, I bought him a new PSP.

Over the course of the past year I've gotten for him a few games, Ar Tonelico included, because 1) he claims it as one of his favorite games, and 2) he had the Special Edition stolen (art book freebie), and that was the version I eBayed to buy for him.

I bought a used copy for myself. He now says I should play it, but I find it hard to sit down and play a console game nowadays... I much prefer my PSP and DS, though I guess I should sit and play Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk... er, "Dawn of a New World" for the Wii.

Also, he says Ar Tonelico >>>>> Ar Tonelico 2

Current list:
PSP:
Prinny: Can I really be the Hero?
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness

DS:
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
Luminous Arc 2 (I beat #1 while I was waiting in the terminal to go to Vegas)
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords
Final Fantasy 4

And... watching my little brother play Killzone.

Day of Defeat Source is my go-to FPS.
A) Because I love WW2 themed shooters (Back before guns got TOO good).
B) Because 'new' games cost money. (eff you console shooters, and your 'requiring a console')

I'm doing a 10-day trial of Lord of the Rings Online (trademark). To see if Mines of Moria is worth 50 bucks, and 2-months of playtime to get to 60.
I love that MMO. It's got almost NO end-game, but the lore while leveling, is really immersing. If you're into Lord of the Rings, I highly recommend trying it out. It's also a near 100% WoW ripoff for keybindings, UI, and mechanics, so it's not awkwardly foreign like some MMOs.

I'm also enjoying Civ4, with Razok, Couth, Cora, and Iyari. It's our post-raid whined-down. I've always been a fan of strategy board games (Risk, C&C, Settlers, etc), and this just takes it online and combines them all. It's amazing.

I just bought Left for Dead and I'm looking for 2 more people for Razok and I's team! Zombies! Woo woo!

I'm also on the fence about buying Guitar Hero World Tour, or Rock Band 2. I'm in need of new tracks... and I'm comparing the two.
