Ahoy people wth

Just like the subject reads...I'm curious what everyone's favorite movies are. Mostly I'm wonderin what people's tastes are around here. Whether you think it was the most moving film you've seen, or made you piss yourself from laughing, or just freaked you the hell out cry

Doesn't matter how long your list is or anything. All I ask is no suggesting something like: "Awmg 'Into the Blue' cause Jessica Alba in a bathing suit gets me hard LOLOLOLZ!11!1!1! nerd"

And for you ex-Fisties...yes I did ask this in our old forums <_< but I didn't get to watch all the movies before the boards got wiped! /flop

And also...come back Cel sad You damn hoser angry At this rate you won't be invited to my party this summer!

Ahhh, this is the kind of topic that can get a person in trouble. And I already have Fos on my case for rampant homo-sexuality... But I make a point of not apologizing for who I am or what I like.
Im sure I am forgetting some very important ones... but my movie list would include: (in no order)

Juno
Serendipity
Moulin Rouge
William Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet
Fight Club
Pride and Prejudice
Across the Universe

EDIT** Cruel Intentions

hmmm this'll be fun

Mind altering - I watched these when i was 12

The wall
Akira

Fun

Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy
Attack the gas station (Korean)
Most of the stuff by Kevin Smith especially the "evening with" stand ups

Action/odd

Man bites dog
Old boy (2003) - premise should be familiar with some more recent moves...
Tae guk gi - an internal take on the korean war
The eye (chinese language original) 2002
ichi the killer
battle royal

Great story telling

Patlabor 1 and 2
Run lola run
Les Miserables (i thought very well done)
Ghost in the shell
Perfect blue

You'll prolly notice a lot of foreign stuff, I personally think most of the movies made from big american studios suck hard, most likely due to the amount of money put into them and thus limiting the directors control. but meh that is how big money works tongue

That's a fairly gay list. Fight Club looks like a forced red herring.

Although I'll admit I did really enjoy Serendipity, especially in that they tied the whole thing to a Gabriel Garcia Marquez book (who is with no doubt whatsoever my favorite author ever.)
Less anger, more pie.
