I agree with some of those points. Everyone seems to be missing the fact that the device works with Apple's sleek Bluetooth keyboard/mouse, which IMO is nicer than an embedded keyboard. But whatever.

I don't see the device selling too well. But I hope it does decently enough to see a revision. They could expand the OS and add a couple of features to make a winner.

The current product feels very forced and rushed (even though they've had years to work on it).

And I agree with that - everyone is berating it for having a touch screen keyboard and not realizing what you just said. Should you desire to use it in a way that a hardware keyboard is handy, that's an option.

My main concern (as Shiro said) is durability. So thin, so covered in glass. Want to know how easy it is to crack when I put it in my back pocket.

Although some of it is nitpicky. I do agree that the iPad isn't the most intriguing tablet I looked at this year.

Nitpicky? No multitasking is WAY beyond nitpicky. No built in USB is not nitpicky. They have had tablets out for 5 years that have more features than this thing for less money. I can't think of a bigger fail in recent years.

I was referring to things like bitching about the app store. The iPhone's been out forever. Bitching about how Apple does that stuff is redundant at this point.

It may be redundant but if a company continues to do/make things that the consumer doesn't like/agree with its the job of the consumer to point that out.

The lack of a true OS and compatibility is the killer for me. I dont want an iPod Touch with a 10 inch screen, I'd like a COMPUTER to take around, not a toy.

Yeah, I guess what Imba said is my issue. I was very disappointed. It really is just an iPhone, with some of the best stuff removed. "Here have a huge iPhone with no camera that cant make phone calls!"
I was hoping for a little more netbook integration. I want a computer, I already have an iPhone.

At least you can run multiple apps with 4 iphones.

I've done some business with this guy by the way. He is indeed insane.

I still think I'd rather just surf the web on Vito's Archos tablet-thing. Smaller, more durable, and still can hit any of the Wi-Fi hotspots around Portland.

And it runs flash! Least, I thought it was flash. Sure seemed like it!

It has a camera.

If they can get the stylus sensory to be at-least 1/2 as accurate as the video I'd be interested in it. E-books and lesson planning would be great. Like the collapsible size tooo. I'm a nerd
