I am GM of currently, but due to little raid experience and no growth, people have been steadily leaving.
Raid Experience:
All Wrath raids and for ICC i know all the first wing fights and have been reviewing tankspot for the fights after Saurfang.
Why are you applying to Damage Control?
I know its a great guild and know a few people here.
Please tell us how you are currently working to "gear up" your toon and maximize your raid output (such as running heroics, PuGs, crafting, PvP, arena, etc.) and what current stats you're looking to improve.
Running Heroic PoS for the SP trinket, getting into PUG ICC's for the occaisonal gear drop as my guild cannot run it..i am looking to decrease haste and get more spellpower.
Are you prepared to rotate your raid spot?
Absolutely
Do you have Ventrilo and a working mic?
Yes

Additional information you'd like us to consider:
I have a nice computer and play around 9-10 hours a day, i am available everyday of the week and love to raid.
As for Diens comment... Im not sure. Hopefully Hiruna or Iyari can illuminate... but in some quick searches I found:
The haste peak cap is reached when your spells (Arcane Blast and Missile Barrage + Arcane Missiles, both having a 2.5 sec base cast time) have an effective cast time of 1 sec (subsequent spells can't be cast any faster).
The haste% factors scale multiplicatively, so your haste peak cap now is at:
(2.5 / (1.06*1.05*1.03*1.2*1.3*1.12) - 1) * 3279 = 814 (813.337) haste rating.
Please note that I ignored the effect of Speed Potions and on-proc haste Trinkets; if we take those into account the haste peak cap would be even lower.

Anyways. Love to see what the people who know more about this think.
But its always good to keep the gear to hit 11% when you run 10s sans the boomkin/sp.
Haste is never a bad thing, but as a mage, SP is the most important stat. Toons really need to build on that first, and then start to stack haste- maybe saying that one has to drop haste should really be phrased like "My haste is pretty good, but if I had to lose some to gain more SP, so be it".
I'd say that he could use a little more spatial awareness, but that's something that is workable- he doesn't come across like someone who wouldn't be able to grow and adapt is what I mean. I'd recommend bringing him along on a non pug raid to see how he does : )
*as a note- Rawr is really good for working out estimated stat weights. Helps ya see what's really going to benefit you the most.
In terms of personality he does little things that annoy me(they've been noted and I'll elaborate if you really need to know. Would rather not get petty on an app.) And is kind of chatty.
