Thank you for your application Tim,
Before I say anything, please make sure you post replies in the FORUMS of this website, contacting people in-game to reply to their questions does not answer the questions for other guild members that have the same questions.
To post on the forums, go to "Forums" then "Application Feedback" and create your intro thread by hitting "Add Thread" in the top-right of the forum. For Name simply put in your characters name. You will NOT be logged in for your thread post and that's fine (and intended).

Back to the Application... If you have read previous applications you might note that we frequently point out age is a factor but I'll let someone else cover that topic. Do note that most of the people in the guild are 20+ years old so I hope you do not mind an older group.

My questions I would love an answer for are the following -- And please note these are just attempting to gather more information as the current application does not provide much detail.
1) You mentioned you have experienced Syndragosa since BC. Did you mean you've done up to Syndragosa and all of TBC? In other words, how much of TBC have you done? How far in Naxx/Ulduar? (Basically, expand on "raid experience")
2) Which guild(s) were you in Alliance side over the last 6 months? What prompted the change? (Basically, expand on "previous guilds & why you left")
3) What is it, specifically, that attracted you to Damage Control over other guilds on the server?
4) Can you elaborate on the question about gearing up? Specifically the part about what stat's you're looking to improve -- What is your target spec and stat favoring? Or, what specific stats are you looking for in your gear?
5) You mentioned you've experienced 11/12 ICC, can you expand on this and let us know how far you've been up to in both 10 and 25? WOW armory reports you have not killed a boss past Deathbringer Saurfang so I'm requesting more information as it may be a transfer bug -- but it's reporting 2-6+ kills on the front 4 with nothing past that. Though this may also be because of this toon being an alt.
6) Have you read about heroic/hard mode ICC 25? This is our current focus and knowledge / watching videos / reading about heroic ICC would be a likely requirement to get you in a run as we like to move *fast*... and some of the heroic mode versions requires 5-10 minutes of explaining we like to avoid.

Again, just trying to get more information to help you in your application as we appreciate it when people submit applications to our guild -- however, we need information in order to assist you in your application process, and to help our reviewing of the application.

Age is a concern. Also this is pretty fail:

"Why are you applying to Damage Control?
I need a good ICC guild because i just transfered."

I wish applicants would at least try to "sell us their services or wow us"
in their applications since we aren't even recruiting.

Basically what we're trying to say Tim, is we recommend that you elaborate your answers on the application. We need to get a feel for who you are and why you wish to join us, and the answers you've given us achieve neither of those goals.

Anyway, back to the warlock comments.

From what I can see your raiding spec is Destruction. Now there's nothing wrong with Dest but I should tell you that it is the lowest dps of all the warlock specs in ICC. That being said you should definitely be getting soul leech and imp. soul leech. Imp. Soul Leech makes it so you don't have to stop and lifetap nearly as much. Less stopping = more DPS.
Your gear isn't terrible but it could definitely get better. Your hit trinket is pretty awful though. Not too mention in raids you are 4% over hit cap.
Your glyph of litetap is up for debate but in my experience unless you have a substantial amount of spirit that glyph of Immolate is higher DPS now that Immolate ticks can crit.
With the 264 Tailoring pants you can get crafted, its a wonder to me why you chose to have your pants as your first T10 piece. A lot of warlocks choose to get 4 piece with all the other slots besides the pants due to the poor itemization and how good the tailoring pants are.

Not a discussion for here, but we might want to consider updating our site to specify an age requirement since typically we don't admit anyone under 18.
