Now to get nitpicky.


How did you come to choose your talents, and why? Based on some of the PVP talents in your Combat spec, are you supposed to be Assassination as your PVE/raiding set? I don't know rogues but some of those talents seem wasted if Combat is meant to be your PVE.


Red Flag #1) You are applying to get gear. Damage Control is not a place for you to gear up toons at the expense of others. We are a dedicated raiding guild in which every member is striving to work and improve their characters for the benefit to the guild. Just because are "joining to get gear", doesn't come across as being very altriustic; rather, it seems rather selfish.

Red Flag #2) Majority of your gear is item level 245 or less. Most of the heroic mode fights that we engage in require item level 251 or better to even survive, much less put out the DPS necessary to accomplish the fights. Your explanation of working to "gear up" your toon, while arenas sort of works for that, arenas is not the way to go to maximize tour PVE raid output. Even now, if the gear being displayed is your normal PVE gear, I see PVP pieces in there.

As an aside, gear score means nothing to us.

Red Flag #3) Guild mention. You said you "was never in a previous guild", but your armory states you are a part of <Reign in Blood>? Explain.

Red Flag #4) Damage Control is a mature guild, or what we like to consider mature. Our history with younger players is that, it's not that their skills as a player is called into question; it's their raid time availability. You are 14, meaning you are even more subject to the whims of your parents, the demands of a social teenager, and the agony of homework and school. Yes, it's summer vacation now, but this all changes come September.

Red Flag #5) Ventrilo, usage of vent, and a mic, are a must for heroic modes. Just because you can't seem to find the 3 minutes it takes to download and install Ventrilo is no excuse for not having it and using it in the first place; and a microphone or some way to communicate with the rest of the raid is absolutely vital.

Red Flag #6) Lack of "endgame" ICC experience. The first four bosses are all fine and dandy, but any random /2 PUG can get them down nowadays (mostly). We are currently working not only on heroic modes, but heroic modes past your point of experience. You have only killed first four bosses ONCE apiece, save for Marrowgar, with whom you've killed twice on 10 man.

Red Flag #7 (miscellaneous because I don't want to list them all out in flags) :

• Your one profession, Engineering, is nowhere near maxed out. No second profession.
• No minor glyphs in your Combat spec.
• Ungemmed shoulders, cloak and pants.
• Zero enchanted gear whatsoever.
• Only friendly with Sons of Hodir, and thus no access to epic shoulder enchants.

While you show some alright gear, your lack of experience plus your lack of... well, everything I've mentioned, I don't think you are a right fit for Damage Control.
